What does packaging machines mean for your project?

What packaging options are available and when do you choose which ones?

Every route and risk profile requires an appropriate solution. Here are the most popular options:

• Seaworthy packaging: extra robust moisture and salt protection for deep-sea routes. Think of custom boxes/crates, extra fixation, corrosion control and clear labeling.
• ISPM 15 export crates and crates: wooden enclosure with heat-treated and marked wood for export outside the EU and for traffic with Great Britain.
• Vacuum packaging with barrier film + desiccant: airtight packaging with aluminium barrier film and desiccants for long transit times or changing climates; optionally with humidity indicator (HIC).
• VCI protection and shrink wrap: corrosion inhibition with VCI materials and mechanical protection with heat-shrink foil for indoor and outdoor storage.
• Shock and tilt indicators: monitoring during transport; combine with foam and skid damping for machines with a high center of gravity.
• Lashing & weir: secure on a trailer, container or flat rack according to the correct load and friction values.

Do I have to take into account ISPM 15 and international rules? Yes, especially with wood packaging. In a nutshell:

Is ISPM 15 always mandatory for my shipment?

No. Not usually within the EU; for traffic with Great Britain and exports to the US, yes. Do you have doubts? We check the latest requirements and include them in your packaging plan.

What is the difference between packaging and packaging?

Packaging protects; shrinking adds a load-bearing enclosure. We often combine them: for example, vacuum/barrier film in an ISPM 15 maritime transport box.

Can you pack on site and outside production hours?

Yes. We also work in the evening, at night or on the weekend, so that your line stops for as short a time as possible.

What information do you need for a quote?
